Hidden Valley

Today I went to Orakei Korako, also known as 'Hidden Valley'. It's geothermal and full of geysers, boiling mud, hot springs and silica terraces. Not many people have heard of it, but I recommend it! You can get there from either Taupo or Rotorua.

I'm back in Rotorua for a while and went to Taupo today for a job interview. While waiting for the bus back I took some pics and I thought I'd share them with you!

ALL BLACKS part 2

Obviously one of the things you HAVE to do in the most rugby orientated country in the world: GO AND SEE THE ALL BLACKS!! They've kicked Canada's ass several times before, so the outcome this time wasn't a surprise.

Whoooo, got my ticket yesterday and I will be going to the ALL BLACKS (NZ's rugby team) upcoming saturday!! They'll play against Canada, and they'll kick ass!

Time for an update!

I finished working in Rotorua a while ago and did some more work in Tauranga (Near Mount Maunganui, it's the mount on the left in this picture) and now I am very soon off to travelling again! I am not sure what direction to go yet! Perhaps do the Tongariro Crossing first en then further to Taupo. Or go up the Coromandel. Or Bay of Islands... To be continued!
