Home

After travelling through 5 different countries, sleeping in 12 different beds and meeting loads of new people, I am back in Holland! Was on the train for 8 or 9 hours yesterday, but I had long conversations with people sitting next to me, so it was quite nice! IT WAS AN AWESOME JOURNEY!

A couple of pictures I'd like to share:

Praha by Porsche!!

Hello from Dresden!
On wednesday Lenka and I got the train to Prague which took aaaaaaages because our train was on fire, and we had to take loads of slowwwww trains. When we were finally there we met up with Richard on Wenceslas Square. We went for pizza, and got icecream on the Square afterwards. When we wanted to leave we found out Lenka´s bag had been stolen so our day ended at the Prague Police Station....

The next morning we met up with Richard again on his lunchbreak. What we didn´t know was that he had arranged a PORSCHE to drive around Prague. IT WAS AWESOME!

At the end of the day Lenka had to leave for a job interview. I stayed in the hostel another night and left this morning. First I wanted to go to Berlin but I decided I had enough of big boiling cities, so I went to Dresden instead, a nice small city.

I am off to explore Dresden now so that´s all for now. I will probably we back in Holland sunday evening!!!!

From Vienna to Moravia

A message from Czech Republic!! Again, I did loads of things for the past couple of days, and also met many people.
On wednesday night I got on the nighttrain to Vienna. I arrived at 8 in the morning. First I looked for a hostel and afterwards I went sightseeing Vienna.

Belvedere in Vienna

The next day I got on the train to Breclav, and changed there for Brno where I met up with Lenka. In the evening we went out with some friends. We had Pilsner Urquell - the best Czech beer there is - and cocktails and stayed in Brno for the night.
The next day we explored the city and at the end of the day Lenka and I got the bus to Val Klobouky, where her parents live. When we finally got there we found out that the whole family was there having a barbeque, and the first thing they did was getting me Schnapps, wine and food.

Yesterday we went mountainbiking here in Moravia and we took Lenka's niece to a castle. She was our guide - 6 years old and very funny - for the rest of the afternoon.

Well, I am just going to upload a couple of pictures from Brno, so have fun watching them!

Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Switzerland

Finally I get to write again. I am now in Roggwil, Switzerland.

Last thursday I left Bonn for Winterthur to visit my 'sister' Jeanette. Done loads of things here in Switzerland. I met up with Andrea again (after 2 years), Jeanette and I visited Zürich and on saturday we went to Locarno for the weekend. Locarno is a beeeeeeaaaaatyfull place. On sunday evening we drove through Italy and finally arrived in Wallis where her family lives. As I wrote before, they didn't know I was coming and it was a BIG BIG surprise for them. Should have seen there faces! Bernhards and Alby's eyes went BIIIIIG, I mean real big. Haha!!

This morning I drove back to Zürich with Jeanette. She had to go to work and I had to catch a train to st.Gallen. Hetti and Hanseuli picked me up from the station. So here I am Roggwil.

Here are a couple of pictures. I don't have pictures of Roggwil yet.... soon though!

Look what they did to me!!

And they lost .... Germany is not going to Berlin... I am going there though! On the way from Prague to Holland.

So yeah, they got me German flags all over me, but I think it's a nice picture of Uli and me. We met in 2000, both on a highschool year in the UK. The mother of her hostfamily is the daughter of the people I was living with.

Today was faaaar too hot again, but das Gewitter ist gekommen and now it is a lot cooler :)
We are going to eat somewhere in town, and have a cocktail. Or maybe we'll end up in some 'biergarten'. Tomorrow I am off to Switzerland. First I travel to Basel (4,5 hours!), than Zürich and finally Winterthur.

Bye for now!
