Back in Wellington

From Taranaki my journey continued via Wanganui, Palmerston North, the Kapiti Coast (Paraparaumu) to Wellington. Back to the family. The first 3 days I stayed with Miriam and Roger and their 4 kids. We went to the Dutch shop, of course, where I spent all my money on cheese, vlokken, drop, leverworst and so on. After visiting the shop we drove past Wilma (Miriams sister) to see if she was in. She was and their parents, Willy and Jos, were just coming for lunch, so we ended up eating all the Dutch food.

Yesterday I moved to the house where Willy and Jos live and Jos took me to the eastcoast today. We looked for the sealcolony and found a couple of seals.

They only get up when you get too close, the lazy things!

Sunday I'm off to National Park Village for my new job at a skilodge! I'll be working there for 2 months. See you then.
